Buster presents: BTM Gameplay Footage
Posted on March 14, 2011
Hi boyz and girlz !
Guillaume and William are bad people. They talk about Blocks That Matter since a month and they still haven’t post any gameplay footage to show you what the game is really about.
Frankly, I don’t know why I still work with those humans.
Is it the fridge that just opened ?
Ok see you then.
Looks great !
Can’t wait to play it !
Thanks! I will give Fraps a try!
Hi z0rit0,
CamStudio is a great tool to record video sequences, but you can also try Fraps. It’s a really famous video recorder for games.
Lots of great gameplay ideas in that video! I like puzzle game in general. And I guess this one is going to be really good!
Keep up with the good work!
BTW I have a small question. Which tool did you use to record this video? I am personally using CamStudio but I was wondering if there was another solution… Thanks!
@simonB : We’ll need some in few weeks, yes. I’ll tell you.
@Venn : I think the demo for computers will be released few days before the release day or maybe in the same time than the final version. We still don’t know right now, but what we do now is that it will be in May.
Looks fantastic and kudos for supporting Linux! On that note, when can we expect a beta/demo? Would love to give it a rundown for L.G.C.
Cheers,
Venn
Great video for a future great indie hit !
Loved it 🙂
Need some good & serious beta tester guys? 😉
juste GG les gars ! vraiment chouette !
Vivement la sortie :p /
Oh les mecs j’ai un stock de microsoft point alors ça a intérêt d’être dispo sur le live 🙂
@Giik: who knows…
Thnks for your interest!
@Lorancou:
Ahaha, never think of that acronym. It’s funny… but I don’t tink it will be true :]
@Alain:
Thanks Alain. You and Mick’ are very inspiring and always raise the bar. So we try to follow your steps! But it’s hard!
@Nicolas:
Yep, it’s not explained in this video, and maybe some feedbaks are missing (by the way, ALL particles emitters are missing here… because I must setup them!).
In fact the lines are formed by 8+ blocks in the same row. In the video, the player adds 3 blocks to complete a row of 8 blocks. Then the 8+ row are blinking in blue, and it’s up to you to choose to use the “destroy scan” (the blue one).
As you can see, there is so many improvements to make, and the release date is sooooo close :]
Very nice idea !
I love this mix between platforms and puzzle. However, I did not understand well how to destroy multiple block at once in “building” mode ? Why do they disappear ?
It’s going to be huge !
As always with you guys, seems like a lot of good ideas in there !
Better Than Mario 😉
Ooh, this looks like a really interesting puzzle game. Very different than Tuper Tario Tros, definitely. My only suggestion would be to have different environments to go through; I’m sure there’s more than one person who would wanna go other places than grassy caves! :3
Keep up the good work, submarine.
