Hi all,

Guillaume still have little things to do on Blocks That Matter, but I am quite done with my tasks now and I wanted to celebrate this the right away. With a little timelapse, maybe?

So, here is a short bonus level “making-of” made with the level editor we already shown you in a previous article. The level is called “Best Friends” and you’ll have to collect few BTMs to unlock it in the bonus level section.

Hi sailors,

If you follow us on Twitter, you’ve probably read our messages this week about the XNA cover of Blocks that Matter. Thanks again for the feedbacks you send us and that helped us choose the cover.

So, after several thougts and tries, here is the visual we’ve finally chosen, with your help :

And now, some news about the game’s development :

- The last playtests allowed us to fix some levels that were a little bit too difficult, and we also added some useful feedbacks to make the game more understandable.

During playtests, we are also working on menus. That’s the perfect time to make the special blocks you’ll find in each level more appealing. As we wrote in a previous blog post, those blocks will allow you to unlock bonus levels and discover new games to play when you will finish Blocks That Matter.

Here is a little “before/after” of 3 special blocks : Super Meat Boy, Minecraft and Portal. These games are quite famous, but you’ll also find indie games, retro games and even board games in the “Blocks That Matter collection”.

Hi early adopters,

I’ve got a lot of work to do in order to tell people Blocks That Matter even exists. It’s quite hard but I’m a chief marketing cat and it is my duty to be optimistic and confident. So, here’s a new blogpost signed by Buster. A votre service.

Important stuff first: Blocks That Matter is now officially in its final phase of development. The large majority of levels has been created and we are making some playtests now. We already have selected a panel of playtesters (almost people we can see playing the game), but for those of you that really can’t wait to play Blocks That Matter, I took three screenshots secretely from William’s computer with game elements you’ve never seen before:
