Hi friends,

A new week, a new press and sales review of Blocks That Matter. And you’ll see that if we still have great reviews (like we did last week), the sales are still pretty low.

>> PLAYERS RECEPTION

Few players have already finished the game and they sent us nice and warm messages. Some of you also express their love of Blocks That Matter through fanarts and toys.

Here is a Tetrobot made in salt dough by Skywilly‘s lover:

And this is a cool wallpaper made by CuberToy, with many indie games heroes and Tetrobot is one of them!

Hi all!

A week has passed since the release of Blocks That Matter! Let’s go some recap on the reception, the sales and internet coverage.

>> PLAYERS RECEPTION

The reception was pretty good and warm. A lot of people got the mood of the game (a tribute to blocks games) and loved the challenge offered here.

There are also some remarks from players on things that could have been better. Mainly the fact that some chests are not reachable on the first run of a level (you will have to come back later with new abilities), or the fact that some jumps are tricky to perform due to the isometric display of the blocks.

We can measure the tenderness for the game in our French Xbox dashboard where the game is at the head of the top 50 (with a 4.5/5 rating), next to our friends at Arkedo and Pastagames!

In other countries, the numbers are a little bit less good, but still really acceptable:

Hi there,

Yes, you read the title correctly!

It’s 4 am in the morning here while I’m writing, and I just bought Blocks That Matter (BTM) on the Xbox Live Indie Games (XBLIG) marketplace!
The game costs 240Mspoints and could be found right here.

Nothing much to say… Oh wait! If you want to buy the game… try it before (who knows!).
And I you really want to buy the game, do it in-game (by letting the seven minutes trial countdown comes to an end, or by pressing Y). You will have a little something for that :]
(and once you purchased, you can choose ‘continue’ button since the game handles it).

Hi there!

Today, it’s Guillaume on the keyboard because William is quite busy (you are about to know why in few paragraphs).
Here we go for some news about the last days out there!

>> Knock knock, who’s there?

The scene take place Wednesday, I was playtesting the game while taunting at William with stuff like “who’s the designer of this game who put this chest in an impossible position!”. All of a sudden, a big series of noises came out. The stairs of the 3rd landing floor of the building were knocking on the Swing Swing Submarine’s door!
