24 Days That Matter (December 16)

Today’s BTM Community Level:

– Trick or Treat! (by FRiZ)

This level use the chocolate blocks and slimes we introduced with the free Chocolate update on Halloween. With a single room and no scrolling, it captures all the things we love about the chocolate game mechanics. And it also feature a custom BTM!
That’s a tasty level, definitely.

You can play it now in Blocks That Matter (Windows/Mac/Linux).

Today’s Gift:

Voxatron offered by Lexaloffle Games

Voxatron is an action/adventure game set in a world completely made of tiny cubes that can be built, blasted to smithereens, and collapse in per-voxel detail. Watch voxel snow settle on the scene perfectly, shoot the voxel leaves off a voxel tree or cut through the trunk and watch the whole thing collapse into voxels. There are lots of voxels in this game.

First, Lexaloffle made great games like Chocolate Castle and Zen Garden.
Then, Lexaloffle made an EXCELLENT game named Voxatron, a game that made its debut in an Humble Indie Bundle alongside Blocks That Matter and made us proud. Play Voxatron once and you’ll understand why: the voxels are beautiful, the music is divine and the integrated level editor assure you neverending pleasures. The main adventure is great, but the BBS levels are even better. And it’s only an Alpha version! And the updates are free! And why aren’t you playing right now?
