Seasons : Blender scene editing

In this special day, let me show you an overview of our main tools for designing Seasons levels : customized Blender.
This video illustrates what the parallax scrolling levels looks like in our Blender editor, how we insert objects in the scene (special 31th of march object…) and how the ingame parallax and ingame camera can be simulated in realtime in Blender.

I’ve been following the game-development-blog for quite some time when I accidently deleted my Bookmark a few weeks ago. I was ready to accept having lost trace of yet another promising indiegame, when yesterdays morning the name “Swing Submarine” came into my mind.
