Blocks That Matter covered
Hi sailors,
If you follow us on Twitter, you’ve probably read our messages this week about the XNA cover of Blocks that Matter. Thanks again for the feedbacks you send us and that helped us choose the cover.
So, after several thougts and tries, here is the visual we’ve finally chosen, with your help :
And now, some news about the game’s development :
– The last playtests allowed us to fix some levels that were a little bit too difficult, and we also added some useful feedbacks to make the game more understandable.
– The dialogs of Alexei and Markus have been written, corrected and adapted so they will be in a better english than this blog post:
– The game is available for playtest on the XNA community website so other developers can help us find technical problems and bugs, but we received no feedback from the community. I don’t know if it’s good or bad…
– Before we submit the game to the XNA review process, we are finishing menus, improving parts of some levels and we are also adding sparkles here and there so the game will be a little bit better to play and watch.
Thanks again for your patience and your support!
I’m a bit late on that, but the cover is really nice.
I may have missed the info but who did it?
Great job anyway.
Hi z0rit0 !
Great news for the WP7 ‘donation’ π
Dino Legs FTW!
Thanks for comming here and speak about games :]
BTW, we’ve submitted BTM for peer review this afternoon, we will see how it goes π
Stay tune!
Hi Guillaume
Yes XBLI is available in Luxembourg. So I am definitely waiting for BTM on my xbox π
About the “paid for nothing” AppHub subscription well it was in January. My goal was to work on the xbox version on Dino Legs. And I must say I was really angry about MS on this one!
But still I continued working on the Windows version. And a few days ago my company gave me a WP7 so…. now I can use my subscription for something! Yes there will be – I hope – a WP7 version of Dino Legs! π
Keep up with the incredible work! The finish line is approaching!!
Thanks for the words!
Love the cover!
Keep up the good work guys!
Arg, sorry to hear that Microsoft App Hub XBox reviewing is not available in Luxembourg :(.
Did the XBLI service is available in the console in Luxembourg?
I wonder if it’s possible to ‘hack’ the system by using an virtual network or IP trick like the Chinese people do to get to social networks.
I hope that you didn’t not purchased the XBLI member tickets only to review BTM and that you will made us some games for WP7 stuff! (a Dino Legs in WP7?!! Could be great).
Thanks always for your support!
Have a good day.
Very nice cover! Congrats!
I really hope the review process will go on well. I have registered and paid my subscription to the App Hub… Only to discover afterwards that as I live in Luxembourg I am not able to submit or even review Xbox games! Unfortunately I can only access to the WP7 part… otherwise I would have reviewed BTM with great pleasure.
I am so incredibly angry about MS for this! :@
Anyway….
Happy easter everyone! π
User playtests are over now, so if you’re not an XNA developer (and I know you’re not) you’ll have to wait for the release day. But don’t worry, the fact that Yeti already playtested the game from A to Z will grant him a free game, so if he’s cool you’ll play it anyway.
What’s the process to playtest the game ?
Coming to your house ? (Yeti’s brother here ehe)
Or some magic url through the internet can give me a chance for playtesting ?
